Costa del sol dog training

Our Aims

Our Aims

To give dogs and owners the chance to meet and enjoy learning how to have a well behaved and sociable pet. We only teach kind but effective training methods, while still having fun. Our general obedience classes teach owners how to be good 'pack leaders', to avoid possible problems developing in the future, and building a better bond with 'mans best friend', and Agility teaches trust and team work, while working on discipline and control.

We also offer private home visits, to discuss issues not able to be dealt with in a class situation. We can see the dog on his own territory, and can work through the issues and put a plan together to enable both dog and owner to establish the correct balance both at home and in public.

We offer a free lesson to dogs taken from our local area rescue centres. Also any volunteers coming from one of the centres with a rescue dog (or dogs) can bring it to classes for an indefinite period.

We can also advise on selecting a new dog, accompanying prospective owners to make their choice, and giving advise on feeding, exercise, education and related topics.

The school has also been involved with Estepona’s annual ‘Residents Day’ where we have a demonstration team on stage , and a stand to give help and advise.

We have also been involved with a local Spanish school, where children with reading difficulties can sit with calm, submissive dogs and read to them. This has proved to be a great success with the children, and helped them feel more relaxed and able to deal with their reading problems.

A 2nd school has also approached us to do the same later this year.

We have over 40 years experience in Obedience, breeding and showing, and now effectively run 3 separate classes a week, in 3 different locations.
